Rematch Between SJHL Rivals:

Last night, Brandon Formosa notched his first ever SJHL hat trick, and netminder Jesse Wilkins made 30 saves en route to a 6-3 win over the Nipawin Hawks, who got 34 saves from Davis Jones.

Tonight, the two teams will do it all over again at the Northern Lights Palace in Melfort. Last night, Nipawin played their best hockey in the 2nd period, and it will take a full 60 minute effort tonight if they want to pick up the two points.

Tonight is also Rivalry Night in Melfort, so if you come from Nipawin, WEAR YOUR JERSEY! Wear it loud, and wear it proud. For every pair of Hawks jerseys, you will get two tickets for $15.00.

It's the Hawks and the Mustangs, Round 2 of the home-and-home! Tune in on CK750 if you can't make it down to the rink, and if you don't have a radio nearby, go online to yourtownnews.ca!

Pregame show begins at 7:15, with puckdrop slated for 7:30 although it is Remembrance Weekend so I invite you to join us for a moment of silence before puckdrop. Stick around after the game for the Davis Rexall Drugs Post Game Show, with the game stars, plays and hits of the game, and of course, thoughts from Hawks' coach Tyson Hobbins.
