Good Way To Start Weekend, Devin Kero Commits To Michigan Tech:

The BCHL's most recent player of the week just got back from a fly-down to one NCAA school, and the Merritt Centennials netminder committed to another on Friday; his home-state school.

Devin Kero will attend Michigan Tech University and play for the Huskies in either the 14/15 or 15/16 season. This is tremendous news for Devin and his family, as this is a program he has dreamt of playing for for a long time.

Here is the news release from the Centennials website:

Oh... and by the way, Devin's license plate has a M-Tech logo on it, so this is very fitting.

The Merritt Centennials of the British Columbia Hockey League(BCHL) are pleased to announce the commitment of goaltender Devin Kero(94) to the Michigan Tech Huskies for the 14/15 or 15/16 season.

Devin is the 3rd member of the 2013/14 Centennials to have earned an NCAA scholarshipp, joining Jeff Wight and Dane Birks.
